A lovely weekend in Kaiteriteri.

While not strictly part of the 'travels', this last weekend at Tash and Phil's weekend was still magical. The service was on a remote beach in the Abel Tasman which we were taken to by boat; the reception was a cruise about the coast. The magic came from a pair of dolphins who came into the bay just after Tash and Phil said 'I do'. Dawn asked Phil how much they cost. Phil said he'd know when the invoice arrived.

I tired to pull off the part of 'Wedding Photographer' despite a severe lack of photographic knowledge. I took a total of 900 pictures, going on the theory that, statistically, I could at least get a few good resulting photos from that.

  1. The pictures are stunning but what I really want to know is have you taken a course in blogging - you have a poll and a slideshow and I have severe blog envy!!!

  2. Aha- it's actually easy, I found it by clicking random buttons. Go to the top right of your blog (when you're logged in) and click 'Customise', then click 'Add a gadget' down the side, and add away. The photos are linked to my flickr account (a website where you can upload and store photos that you own the copyright to- unlike facebook).

It's all designed to make my blog look better than Richards becuase he actually had me convinced that Dave Shaw was a real person, and not one of his alter egos.

  3. Nicky,
It's sad how you try to dismiss me as some ultra ego. I hope that God can find it in His heart to forgive you.
Nicky, I'm a living, breathing child of God, just like you.
You want to make your blog better than Rich's? Just break wind.

  4. Dave,
If you really are a living, breathing person, then answer me this:
    1. How come you commented here within 20minutes of Richard doing a blog entry, yet you haven't posted on your own blog since Feb 7th?
    2. Why is your blog template the same as Richard's?
    3. Why do you deliberately do things Richard never does in his comments, like calling me Nicky and citing god?
4.Why was it that Richard, when I asked him if he was Dave, answered a little too quickly, 'Oh no, Dave has completely different sentence structure to me'?

    Snap!

  5. Oh and:

    5. Why do you comment under anonymous? Is it because if you commented as Dave, your name would link straight to Richard's profile?

  6. If I decide to put these wonderful things on my blog I will have to change my background again - otherwise how will people tell our blogs apart

  7. True, then people will start to think you are my alter-ego or vice-versa.

  8. Flurry darling,
Your blog is far superior to Nicky's because you are an artist.
Believe me, no one will ever make a comparison.

  9. Dave,
Fflur's blog is superior and she is an artist, but if you are a member of the Southern Sinfonia, then where is your name?

Or is it just that Patricia, Karen, Kate and Michael are far superior artists to you? Or maybe you are the usher?

  10. Nicky,
I love it when you get all investigative! That silly sight is way out of date. Patricia left to have her baby, I always told her to watch out for French horn players. Michael is on sabatical, but will return next month. I'm the leader of the section. Brent is filling in for Michael.

  11. 'Sight' should actually be spelt 'site', Dave.

  12. Nicky,
Now I have my own dictionary! You!
I knew that God had put you here for a purpose, I just wondered what it was.
