A lovely weekend in Kaiteriteri.

While not strictly part of the 'travels', this last weekend at Tash and Phil's weekend was still magical. The service was on a remote beach in the Abel Tasman which we were taken to by boat; the reception was a cruise about the coast. The magic came from a pair of dolphins who came into the bay just after Tash and Phil said 'I do'. Dawn asked Phil how much they cost. Phil said he'd know when the invoice arrived.

I tired to pull off the part of 'Wedding Photographer' despite a severe lack of photographic knowledge. I took a total of 900 pictures, going on the theory that, statistically, I could at least get a few good resulting photos from that.

Departure Plans

Train tracks. A symbol of travel.

Welcome to my blog about my travels. Today we start with a rather mundane post because I am procrastinating from completing my CV. My UK visa was approved today, so at least I can depart on time (March 9th).
